Apples to Apples

Why can't dieting on only apples be as fun as that game?

Day 1 ended up not being so bad.  I added a couple of things to the diet, a glass of wine and a cup of Miso soup.  I don't think it set me back too far but tonight I will try to hold strong and leave out the miso soup.

Day 2 of eating apples.  I am not completely over them, but I would really love a cheeseburger.  As for hunger pains, it hasn't really been an issue as long as I don't go too long without an apple.  I have no clue if I have lost any weight because I refuse to step on the scale until Friday.  That way if the number hasn't changed I have the weekend to cope by eating everything I see (aka. eating stress).

I have learned so much about myself and apples over the past 24 hours:
1.  I really don't like granny smith.  I thought they were my favorite.  Which I think they probably still are but only when dipped in chocolate or caramel.  I guess its that sour/sweet mix that makes them yummy.  The skins are also the toughest of all the apples and hurt my teeth sometimes.
2. Golden delicious are the best for breakfast.
3. One apple fills me up for a solid 4 hours.
4. I feel like I am getting more out of an apple when I cut it into slices rather than eat it whole.
5. Adding cinnamon helps a lot when really the last thing you want to do is eat another apple.

Q: Why did Eve move to New York?

A: She fell for the BIG APPLE.   Haaaa.  If you have any great apple jokes, please, feel free to share.

As for tonight, I will be skipping the gym and having a glass of wine with Julie while doing laundry.  I am a strong believer in a glass of wine a day will keep the doctor away (pun intended).  Read about it if you think I am lying.

or Here: Webmd says so too

Call me French if you must, but Cheers to that!
